What is the Virtual Runner?

     The Epilepsy Association's Virtual Runner initiative was held August 1 through October 31, 2011. Virtual Runners set a race miles goal and solicited donations on-line to support services for children and adults who have epilepsy.

The 2011 Virtual Runner Competition ended on October 31st.  Our thanks to all who participated this year.

 Virtual Runners raced 1,093 miles to promote epilepsy awareness in 13 weeks and raised $17,008 and we are still counting.

The competition winners were: Most funds raised (adult) – Robin Kane with $1,630. Most funds raised (youth) – Sean Kane with $520

Most miles raced (adult) –with 153. Most miles raced (youth) – Sean Kane with 36. Sean is the returning champion in this category!

We had a great group of returning runners forming our elite team. They were:
